Buffet in the proportion of 3/4 height carved in oak in the style of Louis XV. Provincial design with geometrical volute shaped doors, traditional work from the East of France, in the Champagne region. Original marble top.

Buffet Louis XV style in Cherry wood - AC22BU

Buffet in the provincial Louis XV style in cherry wood. Typical carving from Le Perche area with volutes on the two doors and the middle panel with the losanger shape often used in the Directoire style. The feet remain in the cabriolet style of Louis XV. The proportion of this buffet makes it rare as it is quite low and rare for a provincial piece.

Cabinet Henri II style. Carved in oak in geometrical design and columns, influenced by the taste of the late 17th century . The top opens up forming a standing up writing desk on its 3/4 size high. Typical cabinet used in the post office in the second part of the 19th century.

A Transition style sideboard opening with 3 doors and 3 drawers made in marquetry of different wood. Original gilded bronzes and marble top “breche Medicis”.
The Transition period is the period between the Louis XVth and the Louis XVIth period, recognizable by the mix between the 2 styles. Here we note that the legs are still curved in the Louis XVth style and the design of the marquetry is already straight in the Louis XVIth style.
